A solidão da América Latina

The publication is the result of a creative exercise from Espaço.cc's "5 simple exercises" course. The proposal was to create a zine-manifesto based on a text that was important to the student. The text chosen was Colombian author Gabriel García Márquez's speech when he received the Nobel Prize for Literature in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1982. In his speech, the author criticizes the colonial legacies that still haunt our continent, in a reality that is harsh and therefore seeks escape, reflecting a territory of suffering but powerful and dreamy peoples. The graphic design thus plays with the body of the text, which sometimes dances and misaligns itself, being overtaken by the disintegrated, open margins, the incomplete forms of Latin American countries.
