Ñaño

Ñaño is an Ecuadorian culinary knowledge project conceived by Tayron Solorzano, a chef from Guayaquil who lives in Germany and organizes gastronomic events such as workshops on typical Ecuadorian foods. Ñaño is a word that comes from Quechua and means brother or close friend, which is an affectionate way of referring to someone. Tayron believes in a cuisine that is accessible, that preserves and transforms knowledge that comes from the community, from the streets and especially from improvising ingredients and methods. Thus, the visual identity was inspired by the streets of Guayaquil, by handmade or amateur signs, in materials that combine typography that has undergone changes in Ecuadorian expressions and colors of basic ingredients such as achiote, peanuts and coriander.
